Outreach and Community Engagement – The Foundation reaches service members, underserved communities, and the general public though outreach about education, about risk, access to care, screening with the goal of empowering women and men on becoming their own health self-advocate. Community engagement and outreach: breast cancer in the workplace, BCMF Ambassador, Speaker Bureau, churches, civic organizations, and community functions. If you know or someone you care about has been diagnosed with breast cancer, you probably have many question as I did as a 2x breast cancer survivor. The BCMF is here to support, those in the military uniform, our veterans, caregivers, friends and family to navigate the complex breast cancer care system.
